These are nice tea bags with great packaging. The overall flavor is more mild than other chai teas I've tried, but it's not quite as balanced as I'd like. The cardamom flavor is a little too strong for my taste, but it mellows out with some milk and sweetener.

This chai is very good quality. The packaging is minimalistic and very cute to display. The pyramid bag makes for a good tea experience and it was very full bodied. I would save this for special occasions due to price, but it is worth it!Very aromatic, and warming. I found it to be medium to strong.

I love a good chai tea. Sometimes I switch out my coffee for chai. This is delicious tea. The little bags keep the tea inside so theres no residue at the bottom of the mug.

I cannot detect the taste of Assam tea in this blend, because the spices are prominent. The ingredients are:organic black teaorganic ginger rootorganic cinnamonorganic cardamomblack pepperorganic clovesand the clove flavor is noticeable, even more than the ginger to me. A little clove goes a long way. The flavor is about what I would expect from that list.As a chai, I drank it with milk. I've had other chai that blended with the milk, like comfort food, but this one gives a spicy milk flavor. Both are good, depending on what you're in the mood for.The sachets are made of a see-through screen sort of material, rather than paper. You can see the whole ingredients in there.

My husband is the tea drinker and advised me AFTER I ordered this tea that he was not particularly fond of Chai...oops! However, especially for someone who is not a Chai fan, he ultimately reported that he quite enjoyed it, finding it to be smooth (as in, non-grainy) and possessed of good flavor. He was also impressed with how high-quality the packaging was, with each tea bag separately wrapped for freshness and the box nicely constructed.

This is a simple chai blend, like some other users have said, it is more on the mild side of chai, maybe you can steep another bag or for longer if you'd like it to taste a bit more intense. I think it tastes best prepared with some form of sweetener and milk. It is very aromatic. I really like the packaging of this brand; it seems elegant and the individually packaged bags seem to preserve the freshness of the tea more.

The spiced tea has attractive packaging and each tea bag has its own freshness pouch. The sachets have strings and the sachet material appears to be nylon. The tea tastes okay in general and will probably be delicious for a lot of people, but the balance of individual ingredients doesn't quite hit the spot for my preferences. This is better with sweetener or milk/creamer than plain.

It is very cinnamon forward. It tastes like a lighter black tea. It is a lighter chai flavor. The chai doesn't come through super strong. It isn't going to taste like starbucks or anything. It's just a cinnamon black tea flavor. It isn't my favorite chai, but it's not the worst I've tried either. Everyone's flavor preferences will be different. If you enjoy cinnamon then you might like this.The current price is $14.90 for 15 tea bags.

I much more mild chai than I was expecting.So, good if you like that, perhaps not if you like it stronger.I tend toward the stronger variety, but these are good too.Either way, they are the newer style nice teabags.

The first thing I smelled were the different spices included in this tea. It sure was an aromatic cup. I first drank it straight. Not bad. Then I added a splash of milk. That made it better! Then I added a little simple syrup, wow, that made it even better! A little different than the chai I made from scratch, but I think just as good. I guess I don't want to go through the trouble mixing all the ingredients myself to make chai now that I have this! Tea bag itself is nylon.

The pouch blend is missing a lot of the assam tea. It has other spices here and there which makes it fragrant. I personally don't like it without any creamer because it's just way too bitter without it. I only drink this when I want to make something quick but don't want to go through the process of making it in the pot. If you add your own masalas with this in the pot though, it's really takes this chai from 2 to a 5.

We made this Chai. I heated water in a kettle and let the teabag steep a few minutes. I added honey and some milk to the tea and it was nice to drink. There is a nice smell to it and I enjoyed the flavor. This was my first time making it at home and I think it came out good. Looking forward to my next cup already.

These make a tasty chai tea. The first one I brewed was a bit too strong as far as the spices but that was partly my fault since I left the bag in for too long. I paid closer attention at the brewing time after that, and it was very good.I do add cream and sugar or honey, which for me makes it perfect.The tea bags are individually packed in their own sachet. They are a lot fresher that way.The price is higher than I normally pay for tea, especially for only 15 bags. Hence the 4 star rating. If the cost was around $10 I would give this 5 stars since it is high quality and has a great flavor.

Very happy with these. Tested by multiple chai tea drinkers and they all agree that these are really nice sachets. Obviously the fancy packaging is nice and could probably be sold like this at cafes. Aside from that the flavor is great. Myself, I'm not a consistent tea drinker so it's hard for me to personally say these are worth the price. But my friends say that they're not wildly inconsistent with other teas they've had and that they would definitely buy these again!

The packaging for this tea is nice but the actual tea itself is just fine, nothing amazing. The chai flavor is on the mild side which is a bummer.

To do less just (apparently) destroys the tea :-).. So set the electric pot to "Black Tea" and let her rip. (another friend from the UK mentioned in a post the other day that in the UK, the hotel rooms come with water kettles for making tea vs. the legendary Gideons Bible in the US.) That would be a nice addition to US hotel rooms.The tea is amazingly flavorful. I used to put milk in it (Irish from Boston). Now, just just sugar. But, if you really want to know how to do it (remember I usually do Chai Tea Breve (frothed w/cream) or Latte (frothed/ milk).Remember I didn't make the rules, the Brits did... But I am from Boston and love a good Tea Party. (i wasn't joking about he boiling water). NO microwaving the water Yanks :-)How much milk do Brits put in their tea?First, make sure the tea bag has truly stewed and brewed in a steaming mug of water before you even THINK about adding milk. I really prefer a strong and spicy chai, and while this seams like a quality chai, it is much more mildly spiced than I prefer. I needed to use double to get the full flavor I like.So if you prefer a light and mild chai blend, you might enjoy this more than I did.It's also a bit pricey - $14 for 15 tea bags at the time of this review. The packaging is very fancy, so maybe this would be nice in a gift basket.

Chai is one of my favorite flavors of tea, so I’ve tried a lot of brands over the years. I’m always on the search for a chai that’s bold, rich in flavor, and on the spicier side. This Bushwick chai blend is nice and seems to be made with quality ingredients. I would describe this blend as being more subtle in flavor. I mean, you can definitely taste the spices (more ginger forward), but they’re on the milder side. The best test for me, in determining the strength of a chai, is if I have to use one bag or two to get the kick of flavor I want. In this case, I would need to use two tea bags if I really wanted the chai flavor I’m looking for. Now, this will differ from person to person, as many others prefer more mild blends. If that’s what you look for in a chai, then this is right up your alley! I received the box with 15 individually wrapped tea bags, which makes it easy to split if you want to share the box or even gift just a few packets. Plus, it keeps the tea fresh for longer when they’re packaged.

This Chai tea comes in attractive packaging and the sachets are plant-based and commercially compostable. After steeping for 5 minutes, I frothed up some 2% milk and I thoroughly enjoyed my Chai latte!! This is one of the milder Chai teas that I have tasted, but I like it that way! You can taste all of the spices and the tea, but it is not overbearing. This tea makes a great gift!!This product is packaged in the USA.

I absolutely love the taste of this chai tea. It's a bit pricey but I'll pay it because use I thoroughly enjoy the product
