This tea was given to me as a gift a few years ago, and now it is my favorite tea! I buy the 100-sachet pack of Brooklyn Breakfast and refill my Bushwick Tea tin. The aroma when I open the big bag of tea bags...wonderful!!! I live in NC and am moving to AZ, and I'll be "importing" my Bushwick Tea to the desert!

The tea comes in attractive packaging and even the tea bags are nice. I brewed a cup and noticed how dark it was, but found the taste very mild. That might be fine for you for a morning tea. I was just surprised since I was worried about over brewing it and it being bitter, but the flavor was very light. The tea itself is expensive, about $1/cup. While it tastes fine, I'm not sure it was distinctive enough for me to warrant the price. I do love the packaging design though.

This is a giftable premium product that comes in a fancy box, with each tea bag - sachet - individually and elegantly packaged with brewing instructions on each packet.I found the tea to be quite nice - but generally black tea would be my last choice for tea. I drink mostly herbal teas, and green tea. I would like this black tea more with cream or milk and paired with something sweet would be delightful.Bottom line - 5-star product, but I think the price at time of order and review of about $15 or $1 for each tea bag makes this a poor value for the money, so 4-star rating from me.

Absolutely delicious tea. I have given Bushwick Tea set as gifts to many people over the years and it's always a hit. And I love the company's commitment to environmental consciousness, aiming to reduce waste and encouraging customers to be conscious of waste reduction.

Brooklyn Breakfast is my go-to morning tea. It is bold with malty notes -- just the right blend to create a smooth taste. I love Brooklyn Breakfast so much, I buy the tins for gifts to my tea-drinking friends. Bushwick Tea Co. site is easy to order and deliveries are fast.

I'm a big fan of black tea and always looking for new blends to try. This was a winner.I drink my tea with a bit of monk fruit sweetener and half & half, but tried it with nothing mixed in first. It has a bold, deep flavor that's perfect for a morning wakeup.I love the packaging as well. It would make a nice gift.

Tea bag is made of degradable sugarcane and the packaging is also compostable.The description on the package is very accurate.Light wild honey aroma, beautiful caramel-green color.Extremely smooth, full bodied black tea taste. For the simplicity, it has quite a complex flavor profile.Premium tea with a premium taste and experience to match.

This tea is very good tasting. I like black tea and this did not disappoint. It has a pretty full body and very flavorful. I wouldn't say it is my favorite but I would certainly continue drinking it in the future. Happy with it, and good price.

I enjoy black teas without any sweeteners and this one is quite enjoyable to drink. The flavor of the tea is quite bold and robust and tastes like a premium tea. On occasion, if I do want a bit of sweetness, you can mix this into a milk tea with some boba and it's delicious.

I'm not a coffee drinker so this makes a good alternative to my usual tea for mornings with it's more robustness. Most teas quickly lose aroma after opening even when I store them in ziplock bags, the individual sealed packets on these means each bag will be just as fresh, aromatic and flavorful as the first one.

I like this tea because each bag is individually sealed in a foil packet. That keeps it very fresh and the taste shows with its robust and strong flavor. However, it seems ordering a 100 quantity is when it becomes a better value.

This is a very good, high quality breakfast tea. If you are familiar with breakfast teas, I would put this one between English and Irish breakfast teas. The tea is strong, but smooth, tasting and made from two Indian teas (see label for specifics). I also tasted a hint of bergamot, but that might just be me. I drank the tea in the morning with breakfast and found it a very nice accompaniment. Sometimes breakfast tea is too strong me, but this one was not. It is very flavorful and a great way to get the day started. The tea comes packaged in a sliding box and would make a nice gift for a tea lover.

I am a fan of this brand - they have really good packaging and the ingredients are organic. The bags are individually packaged which makes the tea seem fresher compared to the standard ones you buy in the store. As for the taste, it is a pretty standard black tea taste that goes well with something light and sweet in the morning. Price point is not bad too, as the quality seems good.

The box came with 15 sealed bags, and in each bag is a nylon tea bag with tea leaves in it. Not wanting to be drinking plastic that may leach into the water from hot water touching the nylon bag, I tore apart the bag and poured the tea leaves into my own strainer. This tea reminds me of Ceylon tea I'm used to. It's best with condensed milk, in my opinion. Since I had a lot sweet stuff already today, I drank it straight. Still amazingly good! One bad thing, besides the tea bag material, is the price being a little high, currently at $14.90 for 15 bags.

This was an easy and convenient tea brew to make. It had a lot of color and flavor to it. It’s really strong if left, and I liked that. There’s hints of bitterness that combined with biscuits, are amazing. I liked this a lot, and the scent was the cherry on top. Fresh and a nice aroma.

This tea tastes delicious with a bold flavor, goes well with half and half creamer. Every single tea bag tastes as fresh and flavorful and each bag is well wrapped for freshness. However, for the price range of sub-$15 for 15 bags make it a bit more on the premium side. I'd definitely open to try out other flavors from Bushwick Tea.

The tea is very flavorful. Deep flavors. I would say it even has a note of herbal tea. I don't like herbal tea. In fact, I hate herbal tea but I have to say that note is quite nice. I typically take my breakfast tea with milk and sugar but I enjoy this tea even without milk or sugar.It's a box of 15 tea (flat) sachets. Each sachet is individually packaged. On the box, it says "sachets are plant based sugarcane and commercially compostable". I'm so glad to see the sachets are plant-based sugarcane. The tea is from India which is typical for black tea and packed with "heart" in Brooklyn, NY. The box looks really cool on the kitchen counter.

The tea comes in a gorgeous black slide box. The box has 15 individually wrapped tea bags. The tea was very fragrant and tasted delicious. I like that the box included the origin, the packed and the expiration date. I like that the tea has a few ingredients listed.

I bought this specifically because it said it was malty and delicious. I usually drink Scottish breakfast tea because I love the maltiness of it but this has none of that. It's just like a very sweet black tea and honestly it's kind of weak even though I left it steeping for a good 7 minutes. I would not buy this again and I think I'm just going to throw the rest away or maybe see if anyone at work wants it.

This is a really good tasting black tea - it's strong so don't overbrew. If you like strong black teas then this will be perfect for you. This brand of tea is quite good overall so I think all their teas are good options. The packaging feels premium and the ingredients are good - these are bagged teas not loose leaf so they are convenient to use.

Brewing time is important with this tea if you want a lovely, smooth flavor. The first time I made this tea I had got distracted and it brewed too long. Not one to waste anything, I went ahead and drank it. It was quite bitter and not as appealing as my other favorite teas. To be fair my favorite tea is Earl Gray which is extremely different flavor wise. So I wasn't sure if results would be different had I not let it sit.I was a lot more careful 2nd round, and timed the brewing to about 3 min 30 seconds on my oven timer.It was a totally different tea. As expected of course since brewing time is instructed for a reason and does make a difference.It was incredibly smooth and I detected no bitterness. It has a lovely flavor and especially after I added a splash of cream (half and half) and a teaspoon of sugar.This is pricier than other tea brands I order. One of my preferred brands, similar in many ways to this one, is about $10 for 24 bags. This contains 15 tea bags in a box. However these are individually sealed in their own packet which does add to the freshness. Also these are US made.Overall I do enjoy this tea and think it is excellent quality. I would order this again if on sale.
